3rd Place!

We had our pinewood derby last night and it was awesome (not just because Rig won). All of the boys cars were so well done and they were SO excited to race them. The decorations were so cute and all of the boys got a medal and special award. Rangi and Rigdon have worked so hard on his car it was fun to see Rig win!

Team USA here we come...

Okay so not really, but Livi has been taking gymnastics for almost a year and she loves it, and she is really making progress. It is fun to watch her and REALLY fun to watch some of the amazing gymnasts at her gym.

Three months

Our little Jilly bean is already three months old. She is such a happy baby, we all love to look at her because it is an instant smile.

Twins

Caroline got matching pajamas with her bitty baby and couldn't be more pleased. She looks really cute making her doll fold her arms for family prayer at night!

The 2K

We did it! Rigdon and I both finished the E3 2K successfully. He smoked me, but in my own defense I felt kind of silly  trying to smoke the kindergartners, he on the other hand had no problem showing them up! Next up - the wasatch back. My race background includes the 5K Turkey Trot at BYU (my first race) the SLC marathon ( we all know how that ended) now the 2K to raise my confidence, so let's hope to break the pattern (success at small race, fail big race...).

Hooray!

Rigdon was chosen as the student of the month for April, this was his first time and we were so excited for him!

He could NOT stop smiling, he was so excited.

eggcident...

... poor Caroline tripped at the ward Easter egg hunt. It was sad but kind of cute too. Don't worry we re-cooped all the candy and she was off again smiling!. We had a great Easter weekend with the ward party, dyeing our own eggs and having my parents over for a delicious dinner made by Rangi. I also had to laugh because we had my parents hide the eggs, and sure enough my kids couldn't find them all and my parents couldn't remember where they had hidden them...nothing's changed that's exactly how it was when I was a kid too.

Easter 2009

The classic egg coloring picture, always fun! My classic egg... I love Rangi (written in white crayon before I dye it). Rangi's classic egg... Sara is HOT! (always the last one to be eaten because I like the reminder).
The HIT of the day was little chicks that cheep in your hands. They really are cute, thanks grandma and grandpa!
The family before church. Do you think Caroline likes candy?
Helping each other on the egg hunt and posing for a picture.

GNO

Let's go to GNO. We have a CD with this song on it and the other day Caroline said, "hey I've been there". It was cute because the other night we had a Girls Night Out, where me, Livi and Caroline went to go see a production of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory at the local Jr. High. We had a lot of fun, both girls loved the play and we had a lot of fun with just the girls! Caroline felt especially grown up to be going out at night with the girls...she even made a point to tell Rangi and Rigdon that JUST the girls were going out, not the boys.

What was I thinking?

I was the one taking the top picture, and thankfully I am not in it because as we all know Oprah COULD do it and I couldn't.

Some people never learn

I happen to BE one of those people. Eight years ago I ran a marathon, cold turkey- wearing  a bright shirt that said "If Oprah can do it, I can do it cold turkey!!!" I had a baby four months earlier and was still nursing. Needless to say I couldn't do it cold turkey and looked like a real idiot at mile 20 when I got picked up by the loser van. Here I am again, four months from having a baby and still nursing exclusively, running a race. The Wasatch back is a relay race with twelve team members each running three legs of the 180 mile course. I am one of the team members. Hold your tongues... I AM training for this race even if it is only two months away and REFUSE to wear a bright colored shirt with some hot dog remark. So maybe I do learn... at least a little.

Princess

The other day Caroline told me she brushed her hair to look like a princess... was that princess of the mullets ?
