AIR BUD

Most of you are probably familiar with the basketball playing MVP dog, well tonight Rigdon informed me that Basketball is his favorite sport and he might be the best first grader at his school. Keep in mind that at Rigdon's last Doctors appt. he was 42 inches and 41 lbs, he is SEVEN years old and he is far below the charts for height ( I think he is barely on for weight). Good luck to Rigdon and his promising basketball career; and to Air Bud I say watch out Rigdon may be your only true competition. 

The Dummies guide to passwords

Yeah, so that would be the book I would buy right now because no matter what I CANNOT remember my passwords/user names. Keep in mind I have been using the SAME password for almost 11 years... but because my user name has to be different I can never match the two up and sometimes you have to have more letters than MY password has or I have to throw in an occasional number so put those in the mix and I am out of luck. So take tonight for instance I went to all of my friends/families blogs and TRIED to comment on most of them yet I never got the combination right so you will never know what I wanted to say unless you allow anonymous users to post a comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well sign me up for identity theft because I am printing a LIST of all my passwords and usernames to put right next to my computer, and the next time you are here feel free to check my bank account balance.

For Rigdon's actual birthday he had to go to school. You see Rigdon was born on Abe Lincoln's birthday (really) so his b-day usually falls around a 3 or in this case a 4 day weekend so we had been partying all weekend long. Friday we went to Disneyland, Saturday he took a rock climbing class, Sunday bonfire, monday- golfing and finally Tuesday the actual date of birth. So we took donuts to the class and had some friends over for dinner and spa swimming. Anyway I feel like we've had a case of the Berenstein Bears and TOO much birthday, but Rigdon feels thrilled to have gotten so much attention.

Rigdon's birthday wish was to go miniature golfing for his birthday, so here we are teeing up! Rigdon is such a fun kid because he is so animated, he was so excited and proud every time his ball went into the hole regardless of how many illegal moves and hits it took to get there. Rigdon is also unique in that he has a very high confidence level, it doesn't matter where he fits in ability wise, to himself if he can DO the task he is the best! It is very endearing (yet frustrating when trying to IMPROVE)! We love Rigdon so much and are grateful to have him in our family.

I actually have tried to put on a new post, but for some reason I cannot get a picture to download, so those of you that use blogspot, any suggestions? I was thrilled to see everyone's comments and am now more intimidated about my blog because people are actually READING this! Also I love all of yours and love to see what is going on in your lives.

Super Tuesday!!!

So I just heard that Mitt Romney dropped out of the race; but we did have his sign in our front yard. We voted for Mitt, and the high light of the election for me had to be our kids in a rally on a really busy corner holding up signs and shouting, "VOTE FOR MITT". 

I would be lying if I didn't say I am worried about our country going to hell in a handbasket, but it has been great for this long so I will try to be optimistic this election. I truly do love America and am so grateful and blessed to be a citizen of this country.  

Beauty sleep

Every night after bath time Livi closes the bathroom door (she feels the need to be sneaky apparently) and begins her nightly ritual. She always comes out pleased as punch with a special bedtime hairdo. This is a sample of last nights. Meanwhile Caroline likes to put herself in tight fitting places, I turned around last night to find her in our trash can. She and Livi have very different ideas of how to prepare for bedtime.

It's a miracle!

Day two and I am still here, mostly because I had to rewrite my bio because I feel differently about myself today than I did yesterday. Someday I may even post a picture. 

Jumpin' on the bandwagon...

 I'm jumpin' on the bandwagon... you may never see me again but I decided I wanted to see what all the hype was about with blogs. I mostly wanted to see if I was smart enough to start one and that is yet to be determined.
